This document outlines the fees, charges, and optional paid services applicable to all users. By using Freelance Adda, you agree to comply with this pricing structure.

1. For Freelancers
Freelancers can register and create an account for free. Fees are only incurred when you earn from a project or opt for premium features.

1.1 Project Commission Fee

• Standard Rate: [X]% of the total project value. This fee is automatically deducted from project payments before funds are released to your account.
• Purpose of Fee: This fee supports platform maintenance, secure payment processing, dispute resolution services, and customer support.

Example:
If a Freelancer completes a project worth ₹10,000 and the commission rate is 10%, the platform fee will be ₹1,000. The Freelancer will receive ₹9,000.

Notes:

• The fee applies to all fixed-price projects unless otherwise stated.
• Fees are calculated on the total amount funded for the project, including milestone payments.

1.2 Service Fees on Hourly Contracts

• For hourly or time-based projects:
• A service fee of [X]% is applied to the total billed hours.
• Fees are automatically deducted from each invoice or payment received.

Example:
A Freelancer bills 20 hours at ₹500/hour (total ₹10,000) with a 10% service fee. The platform fee will be ₹1,000, and the Freelancer will receive ₹9,000.

1.3 Withdrawal Fees

• When transferring funds from your Freelance Adda account to your bank or external payment service:
• Domestic Bank Transfer (India): ₹[X] per withdrawal
• International Bank Transfer: [X]% of the withdrawal amount + any applicable currency conversion fees

2. For Employers
Employers can post projects for free, but some services may require additional fees for enhanced functionality or support.

2.1 Project Posting

• Basic Project Posting: Free
• Featured Project Posting: ₹[X] per listing (featured for 14 days) to increase visibility to top freelancers

Notes:

• Featured projects appear at the top of search results and are highlighted for greater exposure.
• Employers can choose multiple featured listings for different projects.

2.2 Payment Processing Fee

• For every payment made to a Freelancer, a [X]% payment processing fee is applied.
• This fee covers secure fund transfers, escrow management, and transaction tracking.

3. Currency Conversion Charges

• For international projects or payments involving different currencies, conversion is handled automatically by our payment partners.

• The conversion rate is determined by the payment provider at the time of the transaction.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

• Employers or Freelancers initiating cancellations should follow platform guidelines to ensure fair resolution.

5. Fee Changes

• Freelance Adda reserves the right to modify fees and pricing structures at any time.
• Users will be notified in advance of significant fee changes via email and platform notifications.
• Continued use of the Platform after fee updates constitutes acceptance of the new charges.

• Promotional discounts, offers, or limited-time fee reductions may apply and are communicated separately.
• Optional premium plan fees are subject to periodic review and may change annually.
